I read this with mixed feelings. What does this do to the environment surrounding these fragile monuments?

Then again -- I just wrote a guest post on "The World's Most Inspirational Golf Courses" www.andyhayes.com/worlds-most-inspirational-golf-courses -- with 11 courses all over the world (China, Norway, Denmark -- places you might not think would have spectacular courses). I have to wonder, as you've pointed out, who would have the money to play them... Not your average golfer.

Great post - what an experience to play golf with the great pyramids in the background! But don't worry about one of the seven manmade wonders of the world being ruined from a nearby golf course - does Pebble Beach ruin your view of the Pacific? OK, I guess it depends on who you ask. But as for us golfers? Bring it on!

I wonder where they will get the water from. Hopefully, not from the Dead Sea.
